Reverie is the daydream of a bird who fantasizes about escaping from its cage. As the bird takes us on a journey through the streets of Paris, we also see things from the perspective of the little bird’s owner, a young woman. She, in desperate pursuit of her beloved pet, tries to catch up while it flies over the Grand Boulevards and The Seine. Reverie creates a vision set in an imaginary world that is slightly different from our daily routine and evoking the special and intense feeling that dreams often give us.To obtain this dreamy, surreal atmosphere we have chosen to work with black-and-white images instead of colour and to use music and sounds rather than dialogues.
